Casa Colibrí in Punta El Custodio, 90 minutes north of Sayulita, is a private, family-friendly oasis with ocean views, full service, and tropical tranquility. Located in a secure, gated community of just 14 villas perched above Platanitos Beach, Casa Colibrí offers a peaceful escape on the unspoiled Riviera Nayarit coastline—no crowds, no nightlife, no tourist traps. Just surf, sunsets, and serenity.
Punta El Custodio is home to one of Mexico’s top Pacific surf breaks. Not into surfing? You’ll love spotting whales, dolphins, pelicans, and tropical birds. Explore jungle rivers, take a crocodile tour, ride horseback along a 12-mile beach, or simply relax to the sound of the waves.
The Villa
Casa Colibrí hosts up to 8 adults with:
- 4 bedrooms with ensuite baths and A/C (3 Kings, 1 Queen)
- A 5th full bath for pool and beach guests
- Four separate structures, three with palapa roofs, connected by lush garden paths
- A private heated pool directly off the main living area—perfect for families with kids
- Indoor/outdoor dining space, including a round marble table for 14
- High-speed, unlimited Starlink Internet

Chef & Housekeeping Included
Casa Colibrí includes daily housekeeping and a chef (7:30am–4pm weekdays, 7:30am–12pm Saturdays). You can opt into our Meal Plan, which provides 3 daily meals prepared onsite using fresh, local ingredients:
- $240 USD/week per adult
- $120 USD/week per child (ages 5–11)
- Children under 5 are at no charge
- Includes soft drinks and one case of beer per adult/week
- Wine and liquor available at the nearby Gatehouse store
Meals are prepared during the day and left for you to enjoy at your convenience in the evening. If you choose not to join the meal plan, the chef will cook with the groceries you provide. Housekeeping is included either way.

- Sheltered and breezy – Colibri is protected from strong winds; the open sala grande has both ceiling and floor fans, and the air-conditioned bedrooms stay cool down to 64°.
