Moroccan Bungalow at Casa Kukana in Sayulita is one of three bungalows on the property. The Moroccan Bungalow sleeps 6 with three master suites over looking the ocean and Jungle. Surrounded by private tropical gardens! It is a 6 to 8 minute walk along the road into town. If you don't like to walk than I suggest you rent a golf cart which is very reasonable now, around $40 USD. I can set it up for you before you get here. Everyone loves them and it is great as you can get to the beach in a few minutes and into the center of town. Especially nice at night when you want to go out for dinner and shopping and don't want to walk home. There is a 5 night limit for renting the Moroccan bungalow.
The 3 bedroom Moroccan Bungalow is perfect for three couples. It is a very comfortable and spacious bungalow with three bedrooms with King size beds and three bathrooms. The upstairs has bedroom has two bedrooms and bathrooms. Also upstairs is the kitchen, dining room that will seat 9 people , large couch and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the sea. Wrapped around the front of the bungalow is also an large deck where you can sit and relax. There is a apple T.V. and DVD player upstairs as well.
The Moroccan downstairs bedroom has a King Size and the bath ensuite and is completely separate from the upstairs area. There is a lounge area outside the bedroom with a large build in couch and also table and chairs to have lunch or dinner. The Barbeque is also on this level on the terrace.
The bathroom has an amazing ocean view. It is nice as you can spend time down stairs on the terrace verses being in the upstairs of the Moroccan, and have your own private area. The downstairs suite is also Air conditioned. The King size bed can be divided into two twin beds as well.
We have a lovely pool as well, with a Bali Bungalow on the grass platform, where you can sit and relax. There are built-in couches, wifi internet, and connections to plug in your iPod, computer, etc. It is a great place to relax and read a book or work on your computer.
There are also lawn chairs and umbrellas on the grass platform, next to the pool to relax on and look at the sea and the town of Sayulita.
It is a five to eight minute walk to town and the local beaches...and if you want privacy you can walk back towards the jungle from my place to Playa de los Muerto's a great beach for swimming, or a 10 minute walk to Carricitos which is a totally incredible place to spend the day....big pools in the rocks to swim in and if you want to sun bathe it is a totally hidden and secluded beach. It is the beach that we always swim at, and we have lived here for a long time....If you do not like to walk or exercise I suggest that you rent a car or a golf cart.

If you are into surfing Sayulita is great for beginners and intermediates... but there are lots of great surf spots near by that we can arrange for you to go for all levels of surfing. There are great Jungle walks and you can go on and you can rent bikes as well. There are also jungle tours for those adventurers ones.
Sayulita now has many more new restaurants to choose from, your local little taco stands to Argentinian food, Chinese food, Italian food, sushi bar, Vegetarian restaurant and Don Pedro's which is a five star restaurant for that night when you want to take your partner out to eat something is a very beautiful restaurant on the ocean under a large palapa and very romantic.

Our first night in a new country, and our son had a fever. We hadn’t arranged transportation yet and had to wait out a thunderstorm, and Suzanne and her son offered to take us to the doctors if needed! That type of offer is above and beyond for any host! We look forward to staying with them again in the future! Extremely responsive and kind. Highly recommend! If you don’t like stairs though, this may not be the perfect fit lol!
